Ken Campbell Professor of Health Sciences FNP, ACNP, Kinesiopractor, CISM

A Pragmatic Polymath
Emphasizing Maximal Efficiency
Unlike those who are "street smart" or "book smart" Professor Campbell has extensive experience in both and brings you both simultaneously interwoven into a detailed tapestry of human existence rarely experienced on one continent let alone multiple cultures on 6 continents. He knows how to read people, understand where they are coming from, relate to them in their own paradigm, and assist them to quickly let go of old habits and embrace new ways.
As a first responder he has been there, on scene where it actually happened, in real time for rape, sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic assault, bar fights, riots, industrial accidents, car wrecks, attempted and successful suicides and homicides, and whole lots more. His role was crisis containment and initial emergency care to get the victims (and sometimes the perps) to the safety of Emergency Room.
As a Registered Nurse and later as a Nurse Practitioner working in the Emergency Room he saw the same range of patients, and many more, where he did a more through assessment and interventions, with much more emphasis on Mental and Emotional needs. This is when he was trained in Critical Incident Stress Management. As a Nurse he was trained to look at the whole of the human in front of him and their entire Physical-Psycho-Social situation, and not just the presenting problem. Doctors are trained to deal with problems. Nurses deal with people and their social constructs.
As a Nurse Practitioner and now as a Kinesiopractor in private Practice he continues to provide in depth care for a wide variety of Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual distress. The two separate paths of Western and Eastern medicine gives much more breadth and depth of knowledge and skills to allow for very rapid results in a comfortable manner.
His primary emphasis is improving human performance. His practice is split between helping high achievers and elite athletes to find their hidden blocks and reprogram them for success, allowing them to achieve more and more efficiently. The other part (which is often found as the root cause of poor performance above) is helping people resolve and grow out of the trauma of sexual abuse and dysfunction.
He has worked with many Active Duty Military and veterans with clients spanning from WW2 to current times. This includes many ex-POWs (one from Battle of the Bulge, several from Japanese jungle camps, and one who survived the Bataan Death March) and several civilian survivors from the Jewish camps.
He has the privilege to work on a Native American Medicine Chief, he has meet several Shamans in Suriname, and studied with many Oriental Masters in the Americas and the Orient as well.
He has studied and taught edible and medicinal plants and researched many other traditional healing methods of various cultures and routinely runs a poly-clinic for sports medicine bringing together many healing arts side by side simultaneously.
He has been there and helped with the process of birth and assisted many people in the final transition of life. Some under peaceful conditions, many were not. And then after the person had passed he has been there with the families as they start their process of grieving.
